Monday HTC has announced the One Max. The smartphone has a 5.9 inch screen and, like the Apple iPhone 5S, a fingerprint scanner. The Android phone will appear in November.

Rumors about the One Max went for several weeks around. There was already somewhat known HTC device would be equipped with a fingerprint reader. In contrast to the Touch ID on the iPhone 5S, the scanner is at the One Max on the back side.
