COO Matthew Costello succeeded in recent years not to take the company back on the map to set up and leave. The declining sales of the company led to a decline of 76 percent in two years.
HTC, which over the past quarter profit drop 98 percent reported, saw at least four directors leave in the past two years.
The company was eclipsed in recent years by Apple and Samsung that big successes booked with their iPhone and Galaxy devices. The latest handset, the HTC One must ensure a return to the glory days. The device was launched in April in the U.S. market.
