HTC announces Butterfly S with Snapdragon 600 to - ZDNet.nl

Summary: HTC, the HTC Butterfly S announced today in Taiwan, a new smartphone with a Snapdragon chipset 600, 5-inch screen and a good battery

The new device runs on an 600 Snapdragon chipset, clocked at 1.9 GHz with 2 GB of RAM. This is the same chipset used in the HTC One is used, only the higher clocked and therefore could in theory be achieved. Better benchmark results

We also see a fourth ultra pixel camera on the back, a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front and 16 GB of storage that can be used with a microSD card.

HTC seems to listen to the users and has chosen a 3200 mAh battery, similar to eg the Samsung Galaxy Note II. This makes sure that the device weighs 160 grams, quite a lot compared to other smartphones. In addition, the Butterfly S run Jelly Bean, though not known which version this will be.

HTC Butterfly S will vanf July, available in Taiwan. S or HTC Butterfly coming to the Netherlands and Belgium is not known, his predecessor was not until many months after introduction available here
