HTC has officially unveiled the Butterfly S. The new 5-inch device will be sold in July in homeland Taiwan.
The company demonstrated the Butterfly S at a local event in Taiwan and it is as yet unclear whether the device coming to the Netherlands.
Recent already leaked pictures of the new smartphone, but HTC has now confirmed the specifications and appearance, reports Engadget. The Butterfly S gets a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD).
Like flagship HTC One features the phone speakers in the front with Tree Sound technology for better sound. Continue turning the Butterfly S on Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5 and a quad core Snapdragon chip 600 with a clock speed of 1.9 GHz, slightly faster than the HTC One.
The battery is 3200 mAh and 2 GB of RAM is in default for new top models. The camera is just like the One an Ultra Pixel camera with a relatively low 4.3-megapixel resolution. By letting in more light, the quality of the picture should be.
still betterThe main difference with the HTC One is the larger screen. The current flagship of HTC has a 4.7 inch screen. Also, the design is different. The first Butterfly is only sold in the Netherlands since May. It is highly questionable whether and when the unit comes to the Netherlands.
