The HTC One and One X +, two end devices from the Taiwanese phone maker which appeared in 2012, will not receive update to Android 4.4 (KitKat). That HTC has announced via Twitter. The aircraft will be officially running Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), the latest update to the devices received last year. Since the devices are not further updated, they will also run on HTC Sense 5.0.
The One X is the first high-end smartphone that HTC released in 2012. His successor, the HTC One X +, appeared in the autumn of the same year with slightly better specs. Thus, the latter driven by a slightly faster 1.7 GHz quad-core processor. Also, the battery in the HTC One X + with a slightly higher capacity 2100 mAh. HTC One X One X + both have a 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. The dimensions of the phones are identical (134.4 x 69.9 x 8.9 millimeter), although it is the One X + with 135 grams of slightly heavier.
