Acer has no plans or intention to merge with HTC. That’s chairman Stan Shih leave according to Digitimes know in response to persistent rumors of a merger between the two technology companies.
Shih went on to say that Acer will focus on developing a ‘build your own cloud platform’ the coming years. Acer’s new CEO Jason Chen is currently making a round through all divisions of the company and will do next week Acer’s strategy for the coming years, explained.
