Big update for HTC One X + route - GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

12-08-2013 – HTC is internationally begun rolling out a comprehensive update for now 10 months old HTC One X +. The unit gets Android 4.2.2 with the new HTC Sense 5 fitted.

By: Tim Wijkman – Dutch users of the HTC One X + can go look for a comprehensive update for their device. HTC is in fact started in Asia with rolling out a major update that not only brings Android 4.2.2 to the device, but also the all new HTC Sense interface 5. When the update will be available in the Netherlands is not yet known. It is expected that the update will be available.

The HTC One X + was presented at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2012 as an “improved version of the HTC One X by early 2012. The device was released with Android 4.1 with HTC Sense 4 +, a more elaborate version of the acclaimed HTC Sense interface. Until the introduction of the HTC One, earlier this year the HTC One X + flagship smartphone in the portfolio of HTC.

Major update that HTC now rolling out in Asia, not only brings one of the most current versions of Android with it, but also HTC Sense 5, the whole new interface from HTC which is also on the HTC One finding. Part of HTC Sense 5 is Blink Feed, a news on the home screen of the device that updates both social networks and news from blends directly into a list. Other new features of HTC Sense 5 as HTC Zoe, will be available on the HTC One X +.

HTC has already rolled out the major update in several Asian countries. The update will be phased out. Available to the rest of the world Netherlands is expected to follow within days to weeks.
